Time of preparation: 60 minutes Difficulty: Easy
- Flour______150 grams
- Baking Powder_1 teaspoon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Butter_____50 grams
- Sugar_____ 120 grams
- Pinch of salt
- Milk_______100 ml
- Cinnamon__________1/2 teaspoon
1. Cut apples in thin slices (if you want to prevent them from getting brown you can squeeze some lemon juice on them).
2. Whip eggs with sugar, salt and zest; add flour with baking powder and milk, whip again.
3. Grease the baking dish of 28cm with butter, sprinkle a little bit of sugar. Mix 2/3 of apples with dough, and pour in the dish. Cover with the remaining apples. It seems that there are too many apples and too little dough – don’t be worried, it should be like this. Bake on 180C (350F) for 35-40 minutes.
This time I baked it with walnuts and raising – it’s even better this way.
